EcoQuest International Review

The company has been in existence for nearly 20 years and changed its name from Alpine Technologies to EcoQuest International back in 2000. EcoQuest or Alpine Technologies was the original inventor of the ozone-ion air purification technology that many companies have tried to copy over the years.

Some of the air purification systems that EcoQuest manufactures are the:

and several other commercial units for specific applications.

EcoQuest's products have been advertised extensively on the radio by such personalities as Dr Laura Schlessinger and others.

The company also donated several air purification units to the Pentagon after the 9-11 incident to clean up their indoor air.

The top selling unit the company now produces is the Fresh Air which replaced the Living Air Classic 2 years ago as their top of the line unit. The Fresh Air utilizes 5 different technologies, one of them being advanced Radiant Catalytic Ionization or RCI, to clean the air in a home up to 3,000 sq ft.

One of the other technologies used in the Fresh Air is ozone EcoQuest has solved the problem with the smell some people are uncomfortable with in these kinds of air purification machines. They solved the problem by leaving the technology that produces ozone off during normal operation of the unit it is only used when odors are a problem or you will be away from your house.

The company claims to have over 5 million customers with a more than 98% satisfaction rate. I personally find that hard to believe as I was a distributor for more than 3 years and found that although the products worked as advertised, they were plagued by constant quality problems and there are numerous individuals who simply do not like the smell of ozone.

It was my experience that more than 25% of my customers had quality issues with their machines. Again, the machines preformed well and as advertised, but as a distributor the numerous quality issues forced me to seek other sources of income.

We however do like the machines very much and have two of them in our home, a BreezeAT and a Fresh Air. We do periodic maintenance and the units have preformed satisfactorily for almost 3 years. We did have to send the BreezeAt back for service about 6 months after we set it up but it has worked fine ever since.
